Color Guard

Guard provides a theatrical component to marching band in the fall and an opportunity for more individualized “ensemble performance” in the spring through winter guard performances and competitions. This
program can be compared to theater with its use of dramatic, musical, and dance elements. Instruction is given in dance, and equipment. Color / Winter Guard members participate in football games, parades, field shows, color guard shows and other outside activities associated with band. Attendance at all after school rehearsals and performances is required. The Color Guard is part of the Marching Band.
